Mathalicious  As a math teacher, I know the question “when am I going to use this?” is going to be asked all the time in my classroom. Thankfully, I found a resource that can help me answer this question by providing students with examples of how we use math in our daily lives. The goal of mathalicious lessons is to “provide teachers with an opportunity to teach standards-based math through real-world topics that students care about” (Mathalicious).  https://www.mathalicious.com/ This website is broken up by grade level, and within each grade level, there are real-world lessons organized by content units. For example, within the 6 th grade section, there is a content section all about operations with fractions and decimals. Within this, there is an intro lesson, middle lesson, and end lesson connecting math concepts to space exploration, the 3/5 compromise, and music.
